Position: Patient Care Coordinator/Medical Assistant

Convenient Location: Wexford, PA

Schedule: Part-Time (Every Saturday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM, very likely an additional day sometime in the future)

What You'll Do:

• As a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Coordinator, you will administer all aspects of care and support to fertility patients by:
• High-volume Phlebotomy.
• Assisting with education before and after clinical care with fertility patients.
• Lab specimens accurate send out to appropriate labs.

Counseling patients/couples regarding procedure instructions communicated by the physician.

• Setting up for semen washes, IUIs.
• Taking vital signs and general clinical assistance.
• Data into the lab and printing of labels using computer programs.
• Create a support environment by providing emotional and psychological support for patients and their families.
• Working independently as well as a team with others to meet the success of their program goals.
• Promote excellence in service and beyond to satisfy patient needs.

What You'll Bring Along:

• Education & Experience
• Completion of formal Medical Assistant (MA) program.
• High School diploma (Associate’s degree preferred).
• At least a year of health care experience with knowledge of medical terminology.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent phlebotomy proficiency; high attention to detail.
• Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; superior customer-service skills.
• Successfully proficient with computer applications and speedily accurate data input.
• Work independently and collaboratively as a successful team participant.
• A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
